Both Instantly exits here end with cold email running on the team's own code, at bills of about $97 and $100 a month.

Xamsor built a Gmail-based outreach system with Postgres and queued sequences using Claude Code, with a first version done in a weekend. The source is explicit that the replacement deliberately leaves out Instantly's warm-up pool, so it does less than what it replaced. No running cost is given, and the saving counts the whole bill.

gryd.io dropped Instantly as part of a single move that rebuilt thirteen paid tools in-house with AI coding tools, including Apollo for prospecting. The team says the rebuilt tools cost about $50 a month to run in total; split by old bill, Instantly's share is about $2.20, leaving roughly $98 saved.

Together that is about $195 a month. Both savings rest on what the teams report, and neither prices the time spent maintaining the replacement.

gryd.ioVibe-coded in-house cold email tool

Josh Golosinskiy's team at gryd.io replaced Instantly (cold email) with a tool vibe-coded in-house, in one move that also dropped Apollo, Wistia, Tweek, Databox, PandaDoc, AuthoredUp, Livestorm, Typeform, MagicPost, Zapier, Kondo and Dub, which have their own stories. They did it mainly to get features added on request, the running cost of the rebuilt tools is shared across all thirteen stories, and HubSpot and Stripe have not been replaced.
