Two teams on ReplaceMRR report replacing Typeform, and both built their own forms tool.

A professional services firm paying about $300 a month for Typeform had it replaced with an internal forms tool, as part of a larger rebuild described by the agency HouseofMVPs. The developer behind OneDollarForm was paying about $29 a month for a Typeform account used for little more than a waitlist form. They built a minimal form builder and now use it instead.

Together the two report saving about $330 a month. Neither story states a running cost for the replacement.

The moves went live in 2025 and 2026. Neither has reported going back to Typeform.

For context, Typeform lists paid plans at $39, $79 and $129 a month, with response limits that rise by tier. Both stories show the same thing: a team paying a monthly plan for a few simple forms decided a basic in-house tool was enough. Teams relying on Typeform's logic jumps, integrations or high response volumes are not yet represented here.

The developer behind OneDollarForm kept getting billed for a Typeform account used only for a waitlist form on a side project. Instead of paying for a full plan, they built their own minimal form builder and now use it in place of Typeform.
