Two teams on ReplaceMRR report replacing Make, formerly Integromat. Both also replaced Zapier at the same time, so Make was one of two automation tools they dropped.

Dom Luchin moved the automations he ran on Make, about $59 a month, into his own job queue, and reports no added running cost. Playing Jackal, which paid about $29 a month, moved its workflows to self-hosted n8n and doesn't state a running cost.

Together the two report saving about $90 a month.

Both moves went live in April 2026. Neither team has reported going back to Make.

These are small bills, but the pattern matches the Zapier stories on the site. Make charges by the credit, with most actions using one credit, so busy workflows push teams into higher tiers. A self-hosted engine or a simple job queue charges nothing per run. Larger teams with many scenarios on Make are not yet represented here.
